Russia will host Iran on Saturday and Sunday in Kazan in the 2015 FIVB World League.
“We have a strong team and are ready to play Iran. Iran is the best Asian team and matches against them are not easy,” Voronkov said in the pre-match news conference.

Voronkov also confirmed Russian linchpin Dmitriy Muserskiy will not playing against Iran due to injury.
